Linying - Tall Order

I know I say this often, but when I find a real diamond of a single, it brings everything together. Linying is one of the very reasons I still keep sifting through 100+ daily emails. Her new single Tall Order is an incredible body of art and it'd be a crying shame if it got lost amongst the never ending churn of my inbox. The Singaporean singer-songwriter's sound is poignant, brimming with emotion and utmost unique. Her latest effort blends seamlessly her stunning vocal talents with a swathe of piano chimes and clattering of percussion. "The song is about seeing yourself deteriorate." explains Linying. "It's like being half-asleep and half-assing everything for a long time, and all of a sudden waking up — you see yourself in a different light and realise that without knowing it, you've become a lousy shell of a person: the kind who complains about little things and lies to themselves and evades hard questions. "Tall Order" was me realising that about myself. Take a listen for yourselves below.
