Mary Miller - I Found Heaven
From its opening shadowy, broody tones, Mary Miller's latest single I Found Heaven offers an illustrative insight in to her darkened pop musings. The 22 year old Liverpool-based singer, producer and songwriter unveils another dazzling effort to back up her previously shared demo. This time the production is amped up with powerful chest thumping percussion, razor sharp lyricism and some pretty neat sampling, side-stepping genres along the way. "The song is about love and escape and how they often coexist" explains Miller. "The idea of 'heaven' being a fabrication and this being reflected in an unhealthy relationship. You believe you've 'found heaven in their arms' when they're actually an escape from your reality". Take a listen below.
