Every so often there'll be a band you'll happen to come across countless times live without really trying. Hampshire trio Blaenavon were one of them acts having seen them a considerable amount over the years. Headline dates, festival appearances, support slots. They got around. And lucky for me, they know their trade. Sadly the last time I was fortunate enough to witness their thrashing guitars and ferocious percussion was way back in 2015. The good news for fans, as the band put the finishing touches to their second album, they've unveiled a list of intimate UK dates this Autumn. Discussing the upcoming tour with DIY magazine, frontman Ben Gregory offered the following: "I think we’ve all missed the lifestyle a lot. You live in a weird little bubble where your day is nicely structured and I’ve missed that. And we get to go to lots of places we’ve never been before which is nice. Bringing music to the people!"
Tickets will be priced at £10.00 and are on sale now from www.blaenavon.com. You can find the full list of dates in the poster beneath.
