Friday 13th may be unlucky for some, but not for fans of Seafret. Having watched the pair's wonderful journey unfold over the years, today marks their return with their first new material to break a two-year hiatus. Having toured relentlessly off the back of their debut album the duo took some time out to reflect and set about working on their next steps. Can't Look Away is the first taste of where their sound is heading. Not too dissimilar to what we've come to expect Jack Sedman and Harry Draper crank up the energy as the low rumble of percussion and simplistic guitar strums quickly become lost to the track's powerful bursts of energy. "Its been a while coming so we are doubly fired up to release Cant Look Away as the first glimpse of the EP we shall be releasing in the near future." the pair share. "In contrast to our debut album that was recorded in London, we've recorded all the new music up in Scotland. By once again removing ourselves from our comfort zone we feel its had a great effect on the music and kept it exciting for us. Well always only put out music that feels honest to us but by changing our surroundings we feel its made us produce music that sounds fresh and new. We hope the fans enjoy it as much as we do." Take a listen for yourselves below.
Cant Look Away is taken from Seafrets new EP 'Monsters' which will be released in the Autumn.
