London-based duo Ider return today with their brand new video to latest single Mirror. Produced by MyRiot, the pair's latest work follows on seamlessly from their recent effort You’ve Got Your Whole Life Ahead Of You Baby, a track that's steadily picked up pace having amassed over 4,000,000 Spotify streams since its release in July. Dubbed a break-up anthem, the new single takes us on a familiar journey through the different mental states we all go through when a relationship breaks down - from the obsessing of online statuses to the never ending self-reflection, all before we ultimately realise our self worth and come to celebrate its strength. "We wanted to create a video for Mirror that reflected the honesty, vulnerability and power of the song. We worked with director Lily Rose Thomas, who brought to life the concept of sisterhood and female empowerment, which is at the heart of ‘Mirror’, and us as a duo.." Lily Somerville and Megan Markwick explain. "It was important to us that we challenged ourselves and were pushed out of our comfort zone, which we achieved with the help of choreographer Anna Engerström, who developed the movement from the emotion of the song and our instinctual performance."
