Welsh outfit Kidsmoke return with their most refined effort to date as they unveil the glorious Rising Sun. Marking a new chapter in their career, the four-piece enlist the talents of Bill Ryder-Jones and Russ Hayes at the production helm as they embark on the exciting journey towards the release of their debut album slated for next year. Rising Sun offers everything you'd expect to be influenced from its namesake from exhilarating guitars to smooth-textured harmonies, there's no stone left unturned. "The first two lines I wrote for Rising Sun were ‘I don’t want to follow’ and ‘I feel your love" explains singer Lance Williams, "I wanted the song to be centred around those lyrics, so I started thinking about how they could be linked somehow. The song ended up being about pushing against what other people expect of you, even if that pressure is coming from the people you are closest to". Listen for yourselves below.
