Oh that's why I'm easy. I'm easy like Sunday morning. Or there abouts. When they're not making high energy, stadium-ready anthems, Foals are creating expansive, dreamscape driven elegance like this. Returning with their latest single Sunday, the band continue to push the boundaries with an almost 6 minute indulgence of the purest sounds. Through its synth pad textures (that almost sound like they were lifted form a track by The Verve) and calming ambience it suddenly breaks in to a thriving funk-heavy whirlwind of guitars and edited vocals - perfectly demonstrating the vastly altering dynamics the band are working with. Sunday is taken from Foals' upcoming album ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’, due out March 8th.
