Everyone's been victim to letting their mind get the better of them. The more you think about what you're trying to distance yourself from, the harder it is to steer your thoughts away. Loose-hinged, and ambitious in form, NYC trio Meyru unveil their latest single Running Day Dreams which is loosely based around this. Described as a song for the "post-2AM Saturday nights when you're cabbing home alone, texting the person you wish you were with - when all you want is to not think about them", the band's driving melodies and bold sound serve up an infectious guitar led anthem that woudn't look out of place filed next to Interpol or We Are Scientists.
