Lewis Capaldi - Hold Me While You Wait

Few artists could sell out an arena size tour within minutes, all before the release of a debut album. Then, few artists are on the level of Lewis Capaldi. Today he unveiled his latest single, Hold Me While You Wait. Hotly anticipated following such a mammoth success from Someone You Loved which spent 7 weeks at number 1 in the UK charts, his new effort follows similar a suit with heart-rending crescendos delivered with such devastating. Lewis comments; "’Hold Me While You Wait’ is a song I wrote about the uncertainty of being in a relationship when your partner isn’t sure what they want. There’s an impending hopelessness to the whole thing, on both sides, when they’re not sure whether they want to be in that relationship or not. For me it’s one of the most desperate places you can find yourself in." Hold Me While You Wait is taken from his forthcoming debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’, out May 17th. Lewis will first embark on his November UK run which sold out in under a minute.
