Amber Run - The Darkness Has a Voice

Continuing to drip feed us snippets of their forthcoming new album 'Philophobia', Amber Run today return with their latest single, The Darkness Has a Voice. Picking up where Affection and Neon Circus left off, the track unveils the band's immediate shift in urgency as scattering percussion breaks to a dizzying guitar line. Throw in the the mix Joe Keough's hypnotic vocals and its tempo change and we're diving feet first towards its head rushing climax. Keough goes on to explain the track and album in more detail, “Our new record is all about connection. But one of the most important relationships that is forever forgotten is the constant dialogue we have with ourselves about ourselves. We would never be as unkind to the people around us, as we are to ourselves. The Darkness Has a Voice is about that internal conversation.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
