Shaping up to be what's quite possibly their most diverse effort so far in their lustrous career, Amber Run have today unveiled 'What Could Be as Lonely as Love', taken from their hotly anticipated new album 'Philophobia'. Exploring the motions many people go through when they don't feel worthy of love, the band conjure up some interesting melodies and funky basslines along the way, all neatly weaved together by its all-round sense of euphoria. Speaking about the track, singer Joe Keogh explains “Unconsciously, over the course of our three records, it feels like we’ve started to soundtrack the more difficult moments in people’s lives. With this song, we wanted to juxtapose the sentiment of not feeling worthy of love with a more optimistic soundtrack, in order to gain some perspective when you’re too deep in the situation to see clarity. We wanted both sides of the coin.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
