South coast four piece Arcade Hearts today returned with their magnetizing new single, Get Close. With its electrifying melodies and pulsating basslines, it's probably the last thing you'd want to do if health and safety videos have taught you anything, yet the track's infectious sound provides more than enough grounding. Speaking about the track, lead singer Dan said: “We self produced and tracked this record ourselves, and wrote it after coming back from our first headline tour. I guess the highs from the shows against the stark comparison to chasing work again, really highlighted the instagram/social media culture that we’re compelled to prove ourselves in.The feeling of being in touch with yourself and people around you during the shows, and then ironically disconnecting with how you feel and the people around you when going back to normality was definitely something that played on our mind when writing the track.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
