HONEYMOAN - Still Here

Signing to Communion Records last month, four-piece HONEYMOAN, based out of Cape Town, have recently unveiled their latest single Still Here to accompany the news. Taken from their second EP, ‘Weirdo’, due out 21st February, the track is a complete sound bath of vibrancy with its driving chords and high fluttered melodies, all culminating towards its energising finale. Speaking about the track in more detail the band’s singer Alison Rachel explains its concept: “Still Here is simply about feeling the daily pressures that come with dealing with anxiety and depression and doing your best to hold things together when you really just can’t anymore. Although lyrically it’s the most personal song that I’ve written, it’s turned into a really upbeat indie rock track that’s good for dancing!” Take a listen for yourselves below.
