Oscar Lang - Flowers

At just 19, Oscar Lang already seems to have the pop song blueprint dialled as he returns with his latest single Flowers. Packed with twanging guitar melodies, upbeat percussion and his infectious vocals, his new effort begs to be played again and again as it carves its way out through limitless rhythm. Explaining the single Lang said: “‘Flowers’ is a new change in my sound that I’ve been waiting to make for a while, I finally get to record the songs I’ve been writing since I was 16 but never had the opportunity to go into a studio and do a full band recording of. I wanted to blend a mix of the old Beatles-esque psychedelia and a modern sound, and it was a fun opportunity for me to scream all over a track.” Take a listen for yourselves below. Flowers is taken from a new longer release due later this year.
