S.F. Johnson - Asphyxiation
Upping sticks and moving cities can be an unnerving experience at the best of times, least of all when its 5000 miles away. Newcastle Native, S.F. Johnson has recently shared his second single ‘Asphyxiation’, taken from an ongoing collection of music entitled ‘Songs from an Empty Orchestra’, all inspired following a relocation to Tokyo. His latest effort comes filled with intricate, jangly guitar layering, all neatly packaged alongside his hazy vocals and insationably catchy melodies. "‘Asphyxiation’ is about working on yourself, stepping back and figuring out what you need to change," he explains. "It’s about recognising the toxicity of a relationship, but ultimately wanting to make it work." Take a listen for yourselves below.
