Hoofa - Brother
Having already made it a hat-trick of releases, London-based duo Hoofa return with their fourth in a series of five singles, unveiling the wonderful Brother. Filled with jangly guitars and upbeat melodies the track takes an self-reflective look at family life transitioning through the years. Alan explains in greater detail; “Brother is an introspective song about looking back at growing up with siblings. Like most, James fought and argued with his brothers, and they often fell out about minor things, but despite it all they’ll always be his brothers. The song’s verses are from different sections of James' childhood - fighting and breaking bones in the earlier years and then playing silly games to keep yourself busy when you can't sleep at night and sharing a bunk bed, to growing apart whilst at university and then leaving the country.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
