Ahead of the release of their new EP ‘The Search (Act 1)’ - due September 10th via TRIPEL Records - Amber Run have recently unveiled their latest single ‘I’m tired’. Taking a change of direction with their sound, the band channel soft and woozy tones through the track's swelling audio, guided by Keogh's hushed vocals.“It’s a journey through the monotonous everyday; there’s nothing romantic about getting caught in the rain,” explains Keogh of ‘I’m Tired’. “I’d never tried to write anything that mixes emotion with humour before. It was a really interesting challenge trying to get the motive across whilst trying to keep a self-deprecating and tongue-in-cheek attitude.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
