Last week saw Indie outfit Declan Welsh & The Decadent West share their vibrant new cut ‘Talking To Myself’, the latest track taken from forthcoming EP ‘It’s Been a Year’, set for release September 2nd. Wasting no time from it's chugging guitar intro the track quickly breaks in to its rattling percussion and powering melodies before its soaring choruses take hold. Speaking about their latest effort, Welsh explained: “‘Talking to Myself’ is pretty deliberately vague. It's generally about the idea of these internal conversations you have, different parts of you saying do this or that. It's been a year or two spent in our own heads so this just sort of came out. It's a song about that weirdly comforting truth that everyone is insecure, sad or anxious in some way. None of us are alone in that respect, but we're all suffering together, apart."
