Following on from his recent new single Seventeen Going Under, Sam Fender makes his excelling return with latest cut Aye. In a similar vein to Hypersonic Missiles the track takes a frustrated look at the view of the world as angsty melodies come to fruitful life with his forceful delivery and thumping percussive backdrop. Speaking about the new single Sam explains: "Aye is about the polarity between the left and the right wing, and how that leaves working class people displaced with a lack of political identity, playing into the hands of the 1%. It’s also a rant about my disdain for the greedy tax dodging billionaires of the world". ‘Aye’ is streaming now, ahead of the album’s release on the 8th October 2021. Take a listen for yourselves below.
