Following on from his angsty call to arms single Aye shared last month, Sam Fender returns with his latest effort, Get You Down, the third single to be taken from his forthcoming second album, Seventeen Going Under, due out 8th October. Fans lucky enough to catch Sam live on recent dates will already recognise the track as it's quickly becoming a favourite amongst the crowd with its aspirant guitars and effervescent energy. "The whole record is about growing up and the self-esteem issues that you carry into your adult life, this song in particular is about how insecurity has affected my relationships. Definitely one of the more personal ones" explains Fender on its conception. Take a listen for yourselves below.
