Making their very welcomed return with their first new music since 2019, Leif Erikson have today unveiled their brand new single Waiting for a Brighter Day. Pushing the boundaries of their already dynamic sound, the track takes the band to an expansive new era as glamorous guitar sections rain down over their harmonised vocals. Singer and songwriter Sam Johnston said the track took on a new meaning during the lockdown: “I think we were all waiting for a brighter day and perhaps we still are considering all the problems we face as human beings. Personally this song has become a bit of a motto for me. Everyone can relate to feeling like the world is against them but in those moments it is important to remember that better times are round the corner. I will always be able to sing this song with truth and feeling.” The new single comes ahead of the band's upcoming UK tour. Full details below. Take a listen for yourselves.
