Ireland's Pillow Queens make their very welcomed return with their new single Hearts & Minds. Unveiling the second track from the upcoming new record, the band explore a theme of reoccurring teenage insecurities whilst tackling imposter syndrome as its driving basslines and soaring vocals take on a euphoric new high. "'Hearts & Minds' is about experiencing the feeling of being a teenager again," explains Connolly. "The insecurities about body image and ability when it comes to being a musician that’s seeing themselves recorded and pictured, as well as commented on. It deals with the idea of imposter syndrome when it comes to an industry that favours the male form and the insecurity of not being able to be effortless with your movements."Take a listen for yourselves below. The band's second album Leave The Light On is due out April 1st.
