Having recently signed to EMI Records, Chappaqua Wrestling make their welcomed return with the huge, cathartic new single Full Round Table. Through its snarling basslines and tension rising guitars comes a towering powerhouse effort that's set to tear down anything that gets in its way. Cataloguing the UK crises of student debt, being priced out of the housing market, or the cost of fuel to travel to a job that pays the same as it did 15 years ago, it's certainly a track that I'm sure much of this generation can solidly relate to. Speaking about the single in more detail the band explain: ‘We wrote Full Round Table as a reaction to the endless negativity put in our faces about our generation’s future. So much news is greeted with the response of how screwed we are - hopeless views from unhelpful people. Negativity about youth is relative per generation but today it feels stronger. We want to ignore the cynicism, get together, appreciate what really matters, and not let people tell us what we can't do. The Full Round Table is full of our friends, and that’s not changing.’ Take a listen for yourselves below.
