Luz - I Shouldn’t Be Here

Irish Singer-Songwriter Luz makes her exceptional return with new single I Shouldn't Be Here. Building from its unassuming sparse piano and fragile vocal intro comes a soaring pop perfected masterpiece that's soaked in emotion, touching on a personal mental health battle. Luz comments; “This track was written during a time where I was experiencing really bad depression. I thought that the people close to me would be better off if I wasn’t in their lives anymore because of everything I put them through. For two years, I suffered with these thoughts constantly. As the song progresses, the lyrics and mood starts to shift as I begin to work on my mental health. I started therapy and accepted help from the people who love and care about me. This song is really special to me and I hope that anyone who listens to it and relates to it can also feel hope that it will be okay in the end.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
