Premiered today on BBC 6 Music, Divorce make their stunning return with their new single Eat My words. Following up September's Scratch Your Metal, the band take a sophisticated down tempo beat and spin their magic in to creating a powerful, soaring pop masterpiece. Speaking ahead of ‘Eat My Words’, co-vocalist/guitarist Felix Mackenzie-Barrow explained: “The song scrutinises my emotional responses to situations in which I’ve been uncomfortable; and where I’ve come away from those situations with frustrations about the things left unsaid, sometimes for better, sometimes not.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
Produced by Matt Peel (Dream Wife, Eagulls, Pulled Apart By Horses), and mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Catherine Marks (Foals, The Killers, Wolf Alice), Divorce’s ’Eat My Words’ is out now via Gravity/EMI and available on all digital platforms.
