English Teacher - Albert Road

Ahead of the weekend, fast rising Leeds-based outfit English Teacher have announced their debut LP ‘This Could Be Texas’, set for release April 12th via Island Records, and accompany the news with their poignant new single ‘Albert Road’. A real slow burner, the track's soft intro steadily builds in to a cathartic energy that brings forth their rousing sound in explosive detail. Speaking about the album singer Fontaine says, “I want this album to feel like you’ve gone to space and it turns out it’s almost identical to Doncaster. It’s about inbetweens, it’s about home, and it’s about Desire Paths.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
