Kicking of the year in the only way they know how with their monstrous theatrical inspired new single, The Last Dinner Party have today unveiled their latest effort Caesar on a TV Screen. Taken from the forthcoming debut album “Prelude To Ecstasy” which will be released on 2nd February via Island Records, the band throw caution to the wind as they switch tempo's and rhythmic styles throughout in a true force to be reckoned with. Speaking about the album the band go on to say “Ecstasy is a pendulum which swings between the extremes of human emotion, from the ecstasy of passion to the sublimity of pain, and it is this concept which binds our album together. This is an archeology of ourselves; you can exhume our collective and individual experiences and influences from within its fabric. We exorcised guitars for their solos, laid bare confessions directly from diary pages, and summoned an orchestra to bring our vision to life.” Take a watch of the new video for yourselves below, directed by Harv Frost, who the band have previously worked with for the My Lady of Mercy video.
