A return I didn't think I'd be writing about on a dreary Thursday afternoon in February would be Catfish and The Bottlemen. Following a recent cryptic PR campaign through their mailing list that saw the band share set-time posters depicting a 6pm stage time, they have today announced their euphoric return to music with new single Showtime. A real testament to their stadium-ready sound, the track was recorded by Van McCann in Los Angeles with multi-GRAMMY winning producer Dave Sardy (Oasis, LCD Soundsystem, Rolling Stones) and truly injects that sun-kissed vibe in its energy. Showtime is the first track to be released from Catfish and the Bottlemen’s soon to be announced fourth studio album. You can stream the brand new video below. Coinciding with the news the band have also announced they will perform a headline show at Cardiff Castle on 19th July, and Edinburgh Summer Sessions on 24th August. The dates come ahead of their must-see return to headline the Reading and Leeds Festival main stage. Tickets for the two shows will go on general sale at 10:00 GMT on Friday 1st March here.
