Taken from their highly anticipated debut album I Wonder If The World Knows, due out 5th April, The K's have returned with their explosive new single Black And Blue. Quick to build from its guitar chugging intro, the track's anthemic sound delivers on all accounts as the band carve out glittering guitar melodies and ambitious vocals with an energy to match their stadium-ready sound. Speaking of the track, singer Jamie Boyle explains, “Black And Blue tells a story that is all too familiar for people growing up in working class towns. What feels like an innocent attempt of trying your luck with a girl, quickly spirals into one of the local hard men listing pages and pages of ways he’s going to mutilate you. Despite this, many will still try their luck as a black eye or two feels like a small price to pay.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
