With its appropriate title name as this month nears its end, Local Natives have today returned with their brand new single April. Taken from the band's sixth studio album But I’ll Wait For You (out April 19th digitally via Loma Vista Recordings), the track sees them explore new sounds with convulsing basslines and funky percussion all delivered with their signature smooth vocals. In a statement about the album Local Natives said “But I’ll Wait For You is the companion piece to our 2023 release Time Will Wait For No One. Maybe not an answer to a question but an exhale to an inhale. There is so little that’s in our control but among all this chaos, we can choose to be there for each other.” Take a listen below with the video said to be inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s The Conversation.
