Victory Lap - Jealousy

Nottingham newcomers Victory Lap have wasted no time after the Bank Holiday in sharing their swanky debut effort, Jealousy. The alt-pop five-piece have steadily built a name for themselves in their midlands home and now look set to release their sound to the world as its suave and charming delivery with swooning vocals and rich guitar notes make for an exciting introduction. Speaking ahead of their single release, frontman Tomas Ponting stated: “Jealousy is a song written from the perspective of a man who is astray in love. The lyrical content depicts him desperately trying to contextualise and rationalise the unsettling grounds, on which he is romantically engaged. Desperate in the pursuit of love, he will turn on his own ideals to carry the torch he has lit.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
