Ahead of their second EP Tightropes and Limericks due October 4th via The Vertex, fast rising London via Manchester quartet Balancing Act have unveiled their latest single Laylow. Beautifully building from its soft and unassuming acoustic intro, the track's rising basslines and soaring vocals quickly change pace as it opens up in to a fully fledged powerhouse. Sharing more detail on ‘Laylow’, guitarist Jackson Couzens shares, “This track was written on a writing trip we did to the French Alps. We were snowed into this little space and sharing rooms and sofas, we couldn't really go anywhere, so it was perfect for writing. We all found it funny that despite being surrounded by snow in below zero temperatures, the bulk of what we wrote was actually more sunny and upbeat, and this one was no exception.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
