Leeds based newcomer, Big Warm Bed has today returned with his new single Can't Quit, taken from the newly announced debut EP ‘Shores I’m Swimming In’, set for release September 26th via Dance To The Radio (Ellur, Far Caspian, Low Hummer, Youth Sector). Filled with laid back scuzzy guitars and joyful melodies, the track takes you on a journey through the frustrations that go hand in hand with bad habits. Speaking of his latest single release, Big Warm Bed revealed: “‘Can’t Quit’ is a song about struggling to quit your bad habits and the various frustrations that come along with that. There are plenty of vices I tend to keep telling myself it’s time to cut out, though not to much avail.” Detailing the accompanying visuals, he added: ““With different ideas of what vices I could portray in the video from various friends, Joel Johnston (Far Caspian - video director) and I spent the evening at my apartment filming myself gorging on cigarettes and sweet treats along with other bad habits to make the video. Towards the end, there is an animation that was made by my dear friend Andrea Miranda who is a very talented artist who has done some great work for more music I have coming up.” Take a listen/watch for yourselves below.
