Helsinki-based singer-songwriter Carla Aakre has recently unveiled her debut new single ‘watercolour’, taken from the forthcoming full-length album Things I Forgot to Tell You, a project that dives deep into the corners of Aakre’s mind. Built around luscious guitar melodies and soft percussion the track serves as a heartfelt ode to friendship and offers up a brilliant introduction to her sound. Reflecting on the inspiration behind ‘watercolour’, Carla Aakre shares, “‘watercolour’ is an ode to friendship. Sometimes you need someone to remind you of the beauty around you.
