Danish-based artist Polly returned ahead of the weekend with her scintillating new single, Eyes On The Road. Backed with a freeing ‘Thelma & Louise’-style video the track's buoyant melodies and soft vocals are elevated amongst its infectious pop energy. “I was in the middle of a huge heartbreak, completely devastated and consumed with sorrow, when I saw the movie,‘Thelma & Louise’, one night. I remember I went to bed and got up the next day, overwhelmed by a strong, powerful energy and desire to just run away, without looking back, to escape from what once was and to be together with those who really matter to me,” Polly says. “For me, road tripping has always been a very special, intimate space. ‘Eyes on the Road’ enters this space. It’s about having renewed faith in tomorrow and all the adventures that are waiting to be explored.
