Bonding over a shared love of eclectic music tastes, Oskar Rice and Adam Jackson came together at school, and the formulation of lavender was born in to existence. With a debut EP circulating, and its lead single amassing 22+ million Spotify streams, It's safe to say they've unlocked something great in their music abilities. Making their excellent return, released as an exclusive limited edition 7" blue vinyl, lowlight:slowlight forms lavender's first physical release and sees the duo open up their dynamic sound to scintillating samples, warming vocals and infectious melodies. "I sent Oskar this layered recording and he flipped what I’d made into this beat," says Adam. "I remember listening to it on the way to the studio and thinking this is crazy, when we finished it. There was a moment where we felt like we’d just unlocked this feeling and it was like that song just fell out the sky. We were both hyped because it was the best thing we’d ever made and the new benchmark of what this music could be." Take a listen for yourselves below.
