Making their excellent return ahead of the weekend, Leeds alt-rock outfit L'objectif unveiled the brilliant Goth Kids. Packed with their vibrant indie-explosive guitars and catchy melodies the track serves as another exciting taste of what's to come as they serve up their first slice of material since acclaimed 2024 EP ‘The Left Side’. Speaking ahead of their single release, the band stated: “‘Goth Kids’ is the longest amount of time we’ve spent on a song - we’ve been working on it for over a year. It’s been a difficult process to get right but we believed it the whole way through. Lyrically it’s a song that almost wrote itself, I don’t want to overthink the music anymore, it just felt natural, although if it is about anything I suppose it’s about figuring out how you fit into the world.
