Making their excellent return, South-Wales based outfit CVC have unveiled their disco-tinged new single Bonnie & Clyde. Following their acclaimed 2023 debut album, Get Real, the band have stepped up to the plate to deliver a tantalising blend pop perfected soul as they delivery catchy hooks and electrifying riffs. “The music for Bonnie & Clyde was originally constructed as a theme song for a CVC original film,” says Orsi. “I found inspiration for the lyrics after watching the film ‘Queen & Slim’. The song centres around two characters who are willing to risk it all for the love they share.Weused synthesisers to form the engine of the song, chasing the feeling of haste and anxious anticipation, as if being in a car chase.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
