Daffo - Absence Makes the Heart Grow

Brooklyn-based artist Daffo has returned with the brilliant new single Absence Makes the Heart Grow. Filled with grungy melodies that swell to almighty highs, the track's scuzzy sound and propulsive delivery serves to be another exciting introduction to the year ahead as we get a fine taste of what's to come. “I wrote the song at the end of a relationship, and in my pain, I felt as though the cliche about distance making the heart grow fonder was a sham,” says Gamberg. “It made everything harder, the waves of emotion that accompanied reuniting and separating were too intense to navigate. So, I decided to twist the saying into something that felt more real to me.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
