Taken from their freshly announced second EP ‘Almost Feels Like Purpose’, set for release April 24th, Bristol's Mould have made their explosive return with the propulsive new single SNAILS. Wasting no time with its punchy intro through an onslaught of percussion and grungy guitars, the track's layers slowly peel away to reveal a catchy melody driven hit that begs to be played again and again. Speaking ahead of its release, Joe Sherrin explained: "‘SNAILS’ is about one giant friendly snail who eats everyone's gardens but no one minds because he's so friendly until one day he chews through the Lord mayor's conservatory and is sentenced to death. Can the town come together to free him? To be continued...It's probably my favourite off the new EP. It has a big, poppy chorus that I'm chuffed with, it came out sounding banging straight away, credit to Dom at Humm Studios there. He thought I was singing "feed me mayonnaise" in the verse. Just want to be clear here, this isn't a song about mayonnaise. It's about Snails". Take a listen for yourselves below.
