Sheffield's bilingual Sister Wives have returned with their brilliant new single 'Malady - serving as the band's first new music since their 2022 Welsh Music Prize nominated debut album, 'Y Gawres'. Stirring from its softly unassuming intro comes an expulsion of crashing percussion and searing guitar riffs that cumulate readily towards the track's rousing finale. 'Malady' is about "an inner ‘beast waking up inside your body; backing you up and empowering you to stand up to bad men," they share. "It’s also about how strong females frighten said bad men and historically this power is perceived as a sickness, madness, or malady...". Take a listen for yourselves below.
