Following on from January's brooding lowlight:slowlight, Oskar Rice and Adam Jackson returned this week under their lavender moniker lavender to announce details of their debut album 'we're having a barn dance', due May 23rd on Night Time Stories. Coinciding with the news, the duo have unveiled their glistening new single harlequin/los días azules, a track that effortlessly demonstrates their compelling songwriting talents in brilliant detail. On the new single, lavender say - "This track is the conclusion of the album. It is a reflection and triumphant end of a chapter, simultaneously looking back with fondness and forward with optimism. It was the last track we made for the album, and benefits from hindsight providing some final musings and a level of resolve on the themes of the album". Take a listen for yourselves below.
