Tune-Yards by Shervin Lainez

Today sees Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner return under their Tune-Yards moniker to release their new single ‘Heartbreak’, the second offering from their upcoming album, Better Dreaming, out 16 May. Quickly building on its harmonised intro, the track's soulfulness comes out to play as funky beats, layered rhythms and Garbus’ tantalising vocals take hold. The track is paired with a striking, self-directed video, captured through the lens of cinematographer Sarah Jaffe.
